TORINO FILM FESTIVAL
27th edition of the nationally acclaimed Turin film festival, well-known for supporting and screening productions by emerging directors. As usual there will be a special section dedicated to young and amateur film makers. Two retrospective films series are also in the programme; the first celebrates the work of Hollywood director Nicholas Ray and the second those of Japanese “nouvelle vague” film director Nagisa Oshima.

Following recent exhibition openings and big events like the switching on of the Artists’ Lights, the contemporary art season continues with a host of things to see around the city.
The spectacular open air Artists’ Lights will be on every evening from now on, until late into the night. Guided tours will be carried out by Turismo Torino every Saturday at 5 pm from 14 November 2009 (info and bookings at www.turismotorino.org).
