EVENTS NOT-TO-BE-MISSED
Turin has been nominated European Youth Capital throughout 2010, which means that an exciting line up of music, theatre, art, innovation and sports events are in store! From 2 to 7 July, the city has also been nominated Eurospea Science Capital in accordance with the ESOF 2010, Euroscience Open Forum.

For all those lovers of music, clubbing and palasport concert nights, there is a rich programme of rock and pop concerts on offer, among which we recommend: Tokio Hotel (25 March) and the highly anticipated U2 concert at the Olympic Stadium on 6 August.

In conclusion, one of this year’s biggest events in the city will surely be the Extension of the Turin Shroud. Millions of pilgrims from around the world will visit the city to view the Holy Shroud from 10 April to 23 May, an exceptionally rare event that only takes place once every 10 years.
